Recently a small case of these books was discovered in the warehouse from the 1985 printing. So supplies are limited, order yours today. Stokes county was formed in 1789 from Surry County. It is located in the north-central section of the state and is bounded by Rockingham, Forsyth, and Surry counties and the state line of Virginia. In 1849, Forsyth was formed from Stokes County.
