39: Little Girl Lost by Richard Aleas Well that one didn't last long. It did make up a bit for Kept taking a week though. And, it was really really good. I'll definitely be looking for more by Aleas, and I'm feeling more and more into the Hard Case Crime label.

... a reissue of book originally from 1970. I was not too impressed, it felt like a bad imitation of a John D. MacDonald book. Little Girl Lost was more recent and a much better book. Though set in the here and now, it had nice old-fashioned feel about it.
