After Indecision in Ecuador I am back in England with Vera Brittain's Testament of Friendship. Just finished Indecision. Wow! Been reading this off and on since end of March. Did not care for it very much after the first few chapters but kept at it every now and then until I finally finished. Indecision by Benjamin Kunkel. (Ecuador). Start wasn't too bad but after that it did not hold my interest at all. It has taken me months to read this one and I'm glad it's over.
I am in England reading The Judge by Rebecca West.

This surely is a book I will recommend to nobody. The story about Dwight who seems to be very indecisive (I didn't notice) and takes (placebo) medicines for this, doesn't do me anything. Furthermore, the story is inconsequent sometimes and doesn't seem to ... ... a funny, slightly confronting, light read, which is ok after just having finished In cold blood.
My next read will be Indecision by Benjamin Kunkel. Probably start it tomorrow, as I have a day of (Whit Monday), only have some vague plans and the sun might be shining (= with a book in ... In USA with The Yearling and The Weight of Water and Ecuador with Indecision.
I have also just finished a trip to Canada to experience The Tenderness of Wolves. My feet are in South America enjoying Bel Canto by Ann Patchett and in Ecuador experiencing Indecision by Benjamin Kunkel and my head is in England with The Forsyte Saga by John Galsworthy. ... his life and theirs.
Now I'm off to Ecuador to see The Old Man Who Read Love Stories by Luis Sepulveda, followed by Indecision by Benjamin Kunkel. ... blood by Truman Capote (31/5) (#60)

Enjoyed some, hated others. This is a collection that I think deserves another read to appreciate fully.
