This is a great topic starter for science in elementary school or even a concept overview in writing; how one's perspective may be different based upon where they have been and seen in the world. There are numerous ways to use this book in a classroom! ( )

A fish is a fish and doesn't need to be a frog. They each have their own unique things. Don't be jealous,

This book is about a fish, he becomes friends with a frog. One day the frog is ready to go out onto the land. He comes back and tells the fish all about what he sees out there. Fish pictures everything that frog describes looking like a fish. He thinks this because he hasn't seen many things that aren't fish so he thinks that everything will look like a fish.

A tadpole and a fish are friends but the tadpole is changing into a frog. A great book to use in science to talk about prior knowledge and how people's perspectives can be different.
