Harry Bosch teams up with his half brother Michael Haller of "Lincoln Lawyer" fame to investigate a defendant who Haller feels is innocent. This is one of the best plots - and best written of books I've read by Connelly. Very well done. ( )

Connelly's books are always a good read! In this one, Harry reluctantly works for his brother as an investigator, only because Haller feels his client is innocent, and Harry wants the real perpetrator brought to justice. ( )

Really taut page turner. I liked the lead character and the mystery was excellent with good leads. Not crazy about the solution but could not put the book down for long. Looking forward to reading more from this author. ( )

Michael Connelly wrote a superb novel as usual. Always sad when the novel is over, yet I read it very fast ( )

I like a sparse style of writing (i.e. Elmore Leonard); but Connelly is able to be very descriptive in his writing and still hold my interest, a mark of someone that knows his craft. ( )
