This series just makes me so happy. Part of my delight comes from unexpected twists and digressions, like spending an adventure on a cruise ship. A cruise ship?! But mostly I just love the characters. I'm already sad that I only have three more volumes available to read right now. ( )

I read the whole series in like 2-3 days so it's weird how far we've come and several years have passed, but I love it

(also, what is UP with Annie's Dad) ( )

This was the 5th book in the series and unlike the previous ones it really only seemed to cover half an arc. Though it might be fair to say there were several other partial arcs as well. The big one is Annie Carver trying to figure out a way to release the ghost bound to the river. The robots did some interesting things for Kat's attention and the new court medium got to meet the forest. I enjoy this comic quite a bit and plan to continue buying the books as they become available. ( )
