Avec un tel titre, il eut été regrettable de proposer un ouvrage à la triste mine. Et bien, pas de regret, cette deuxième édition "enrichie et mise à jour" du "best-seller international" ne déçoit pas. Dans une profusion d'exemples et d'illustrations, on apprend à concevoir son site de troisième génération, celle de la conception créative. Le processus de réalisation est présenté étape par étape pour aboutir à une galerie d'exemples commentés. En même temps, David Siegel, fondateur du Studio Verso et président de Vertebrae Technology, délivre des mises en garde ponctuelles (les "sept péchés mortel" !). Il prodique quelques conseils pour que le site survive à l'évolution des navigateurs et attire l'attention sur un point important : avoir un beau site, c'est bien, y proposer un contenu solide, c'est encore mieux. Les résumés en fin de chapitre n'en sont pas ! Ils mettent en fait l'accent sur certains points qui ne manqueront pas d'étonner le lecteur. Tout est fait pour que la technique ne rebute pas et l'on oublie même le style "un peu lourd".
