Book description
Imagine finding out that you are the single winner of a lottery drawing for 212 million dollars. And then imagine losing your ticket before you cash it. Andi Selby is a 27 year old single mother of one who lives paycheck to paycheck, refuses to date and might be cracking up due to longstanding loneliness and financial anemia.

Andi buys a lottery ticket for a drawing worth $212 million and learns that she is the sole winner. After she quits her job but before she cashes the ticket, she loses the ticket itself. For the next 182 days Andi tries to find a way to support herself and her daughter Rue while searching for the lost ticket.

These six months for Andi become a trial in self discovery. There are clashes with her nymphomaniac mother who is on her seventh divorce and the reason Andi has sworn off dating. There is peer pressure to start dating and to get her job back, from her best friend of ten years who may have had a hand in losing the ticket. Andi gets life lessons from her ten year old daughter, odd jobs, awkward dating attempts, money making schemes and a new friendship with an eighty-seven year old pot smoking crackerjack of a woman, Poppi. By the time the 182 days are up, will Andi have found the ticket? More importantly, what else may she have or have not found?
