This must be one of the most hilarious vampire stories I've ever read. The blurb sort of hints at it, but the entire book is like that. I mean, a vampire who is too bored to want to live? I can actually see it, if you don't have a hobby or something to keep your interest, you might get a bit bored after a few hundred years.

Lukas is the one who suffers from ennui, as he puts it, but his entire attempt at suicide fails miserably. He may have put his affairs in order, left everything to his maker, Gustav, but he cannot control the weather. And because the sun doesn't come out that day, he is still alive a few hours later and ends up going back into his house. He wants to try again the next day, but Gustav has an issue with that.

Gustav regrets letting Lukas go, and intends to make up for lost time. This is where the story turns really hot. The two men fall back into the sort of kinky play they used to share, and the gloves come off.

If you like books that are as funny as they are hot, if you enjoy vampire stories, and if you're looking for a short read that will make you smile (maybe even laugh), give this one a try. I definitely liked it!
