Stop being so me focused. Stop placing your desires and demands ahead of God's church. Start saying "I Will..." be obedient and worship with others, pray with/for others, minister with others, and be a unifying force in the local church. ( )

I decided to pick up this book when my Pastor suggested that we read it along with his monthly lesson. At first I was super excited for this book, and thought that I was going to learn a lot about how to say yes. I guess I felt that the book basically taught common sense, and that people who complain typically do not enjoy Church/their life in general. I was hoping for prayers I could pray or examples of how other Christian's got themselves in gear in order to do more and say "I Do." The book itself wasn't all that horrible, I still learned why many people move churches, or the perspective of others. Overall, it is a great book for people who are looking for general guidelines on how to be a better Christian and less of a complainer (if you are looking to be more involved in the church). ( )
