During the Vietnam War, actress Chris Noel accepted a job as the first female Armed Forces Radio Network DJ since World War II. Between her duties on-air and her 20 trips to Vietnam to visit the troops dressed in trademark go-go boots and miniskirt, Noel found herself in camps being shelled, in a downed helicopter, and visiting countless hospitals. As a result she suffered from Post Traumatic Stress Disorder. She talks about all of that in her book which includes her movies with Elvis and various other TV and movie appearances, her current career working with vets, and her opinion of Jane Fonda on the side. Good reading, brief and well-illustrated account of her experiences. ( )
