This book should be in any baseball fan's library. It covers many legendary characters of baseball from a quirky perspective and uncovers many, many more unknown players from the semi-pro ranks through the minors to Japanese, Cuban, Mexican and Puerto Rican baseball. A simply marvelous read. ( )
