Amazon.com Product Description (ISBN 0615203795, Hardcover)

The CIBO CEO recounts the genesis of a quiet revolution in how corporate America thinks about financing its philanthropy. It is a direct result of three recent discoveries: 1. The accidental discovery that charitable planning tools long used successfully by private individuals can also be used by the corporate business world. 2. The discovery that these tools are no less compelling in their corporate application than they are for individuals. 3. The biggest surprise of all - that the corporate application of these tools is so much more cost effective than it is for individuals, as to result in new mega-funding opportunities for charities, at close to, and in many cases fully achieving, "zero-cost" to the company and a positive impact on GAAP earnings. We have named these potent new tools "Charitably Integrated Business Operations," or "CIBO" for short. These new CIBO tools have proven to be the exception to the rule that what seems too good to be true, often is, and the results of our three intensive years of development, refinement, and track testing are fully described and documented throughout the book.
