... Stephen Baxter Manifold series, Manifold; Space. Hard sf, sometimes confusing concepts, but fascinating. First is Manifold; Time, third is Manifold; Origin.

... Reality Dust (novella), Riding the Rock (novella and Starfall (novella). There's also his Manifold trilogy - Time, Space and Origin.

... Jedi - Backlash by Aaron Allston 2. Star Wars: Fate of the Jedi - Allies 3. Star Wars: Fate of the Jedi - Vortex 4. Manifold: Time by Stephen Baxter 5. Red Mars by Kim Stanley Robinson 6. Chocky by John Wyndham ***½ 12/15/09 7. The Seeds of Time by John W ...

Challenge dates: October 1, 2009 - October 1, 2010 Here are my categories and some preliminary titles for 2010. Might as well really ...

#32 Thanks for the recommendations Tane. I have just realized that I have read one more of Baxter's books: Manifold: Time , the first of the Manifold series. I enjoyed so I will continue with that series.

... from alternate history to Hard Sci-Fi, though none of them particularly like Time Ships (imo)... I very much enjoyed his Manifold series (though I'm sure I understood far less of it than I perhaps should admit ;-), and the Time's Tapestry series is an interesting set. Light of Other Days ...

Pretty much anything by Greg Egan. Also some of Stephen Baxter's widescreen sf novels: Manifold: Space, Manifold: Time, Manifold: Origin, Ring, Vacuum Diagrams...

... Ships. (A sequel to The Time Machine. What if the time machine had fallen into government hands?) I would also recommend Manifold: Time and Titan. Stephen Baxter doesn't exactly create rich, three-dimensional characters, but since he's mostly writing about scientists I find his ...

... orbiter on their way to Saturn? That's really gotta suck. Probably Baxter's best character development in my opinion. Manifold: Time - Universe statistically proven to end in 200 years and the quest to re-boot it. Why everything is wrong. (Part of the 'manifold of universes'. Same ...

... Days which was a collaboration between Baxter and Clarke. Of course, my other favorite Baxter novels are Titan and Manifold: Time which have both taken a drubbing already in this thread, so take my advice with a grain of salt.

>29 Could almost be one of the Stephen Baxter Manifold books: Manifold: Time, Manifold: Space and Origin. Was there a lot of talk about the moon?
