This story was about embarrassment and its effects. Authur has a dream that he will be without his pants at school. He rips his pants and then stops having dreams.

In this story, Binky rips his pants and everyone laughs at him. Arthur thought it was so funny but then started having nightmares about wearing no pants, and then actually ripped his pants. Binky is there to cover for him so he isn't embarrassed.Then Buster goes through the same process of the nightmares. This story shows that everyone goes through embarrassing moments but you have to not let it take over you. When embarrassing things happen, friends should be there for each other because we all know what it feels like to be embarrassed. After reading the book, students could tell of times they were embarrassed. ( )

Children love anything that has to do with underwear so they will really enjoy this book. After Arthur's friend Binky rips his pants at school, he begans having nightmares that he will do the same. The nightmares are really scary so he confides with his best friend Buster about it. Buster tells everyone at school. Arthur is embarrassed and accidently rips his pants at lunch. Binky was there to be a good friend and help him get out of the situation. The story shows up that embarrassing things happen to everyone and it's important to remember you are still you.

This would be a good book for kindergarten to second grade students. It would be a good book to start a conversation about embarrassment. This would be a good way to let students know that it is normal to get embarrassed, but that you shouldn't let it get you down.
