This dystopian take on Rapunzel was great fun. I loved the whole idea. Nel has lived most of her life in a tower she can't leave. Her mission there, to kill every zombie that comes in sight with a sniper rifle. She's never even met a man, she's not even sure they still exist. Then one night in the middle of a snowstorm, Dane Prince comes running through the darkness chased by zombies. She kills all the zombies and makes the fateful decision to let him come up rather than freeze to death. But Dane isn't some innocent traveller. He's there investigating the people who put Nel in the tower. Sexy times ensue.

I really enjoyed this novella. The only negative is that it is a novella. The ending is a little more rushed than I would have liked. I definitely recommend this book to anyone looking for a fun, relaxing, quick read. ( )
