I found this book at Politics and Prose bookstore in Takoma Park (located in the Busboys and Poets restaurant) -- they have a small but mighty collection books, including a great kids section. Got this as a gift for my 3 and a half year old dinosaur-obsessed nephew -- he loved it. The dimensions and block shape make the book especially fun and recognizable. Vivid, colorful illustrations. Some notable feature of each dinosaur (long neck, etc.) is compared with a modern day animal. ( )

like a board book, and a puzzle, and a guessing game, AND a dinosaur book. ( )
