The story of Zeb, Jane, and Dill is very enlightening. Zeb is a funny cab driver with a great habit of rescuing damsels in distress. He had to be my favorite character in the story! He was very well written with some peculiar habits and a sad background to build on.

While I enjoyed this story, I felt as if the pacing was a bit quick in some parts. It seemed as if there were a lot of scenes where people were attacking them with guns, yet none of them seemed to get injured even though in most cases they were outnumbered. To me, they felt a bit unrealistic, though I loved the humor that Zeb added to the fights with his upbeat lines and mannerisms.

This is a good read. I would recommend to people who like to read books with unique characters! ( )
