New to SEM Library. A seemingly undefeatable young female hero, who appears to be surviving with her only friend, a cat, in a war torn, destroyed world. Though what is left of the world appears to be overrun by violent, warring creatures, ApocalyptiGirl chooses to preserve it when given the choice. ( )

A quirky post-apocalyptic comic about a girl and her cat searching the ruins of a former city. She braves the two local tribes (uniformly hostile) with the help of some high tech gear. For me the nicest part of the book were the glimpses of lushly overgrown highway overpasses and ruined apartment blocks. This is POST-post-apocalypse: life has returned in sometimes weird ways. Slight story but nicely done. ( )
