Beautiful prose and reflections on life lived in the country, with all its trials, tribulations, and earthly rewards. I loved the talk of trees, lungwort, moral dilemma of prey and predators, water worries, and the self-satisfaction that comes from providing for oneself. I aspire to this. And it was nice to hear someone else's honest thoughts and experience about such a 'backward' move these days. Delightful, humorous, moving. ( )
