Amazon.com Product Description (ISBN 0990820017, Paperback)

MY LIFE WITH MR. BEELZEBUB, in addition to being a penetrating study of Gurdjieff's opus, is the story of one man's immersion into the tales of BEELZEBUB and how this gave a direction to his life and brought him into the Work. Mesa presents us first with his life lessons and leanings, and then demonstrates in penetrating detail, how he was able to apply all that he had learned from this book. In personalizing his study in this way, he reveals his growth of self as the result of plumbing the depths in BEELZEBUB'S TALES, through which he came to understand himself in accordance with the objective truths and governing laws of our life on Earth. And this of course was Gurdjieff's intention: that the material of one's life becomes the food for the transubstantiation of one's Being. --From the Foreword by David Kherdian. Will Mesa has spent 39 years studying the teaching of G.I. Gurdjieff. He spent three years with a group led by Henri Tracol in Paris, and seven years with the groups of Nathalie Ethievan in Venezuela. He is the author of over 20 papers on Beelzebub's Tales published in journals including Stopinder, and more than 50 articles on his internet site "Gospel According to Beelzebub." He has presented papers at the All and Everything International Humanities Conference in England and the Society for the Scientific Study of Religion (SSSR) in the United States.
