Alex Morgan was born on the 2nd of July, 1989. She grew up in Diamond Bar,California. She is the youngest of three daughters. Morgan was a huge tomboy and most of her friends were really into sports. Alex was called "mighty mouse" because of her speed. Michelle Akers, Kristine Lilly, Mia Hamm, and Tiffeny Milbrett were an inspiration to Alex. Morgan attend University of California, Berkley. She graduated with a political economy degree. In 2013 Morgan was engage to Servando Carrasco. In 2014 she published a book called "Saving the Team". Alex made an important goal by placing the U.S team closer to qualifying in the World Cup. The book finish by telling facts about the Olympics and how Alex Morgan will become the next big star.
I think the book was great. But there were a few pages that didn't focus on Alex Morgan. It had content like what events happened the year she was born and people who grew up in Diamond Bar. But overall I thought the book was good. It had some very interesting facts like if she could be any animal it would be a Snow Leopard or a cheetah. I do recommend this book for reports and/or for fun. reading. ( )
