Large format picture book with colour illustrations. Includes the story of Aladdin and his wonderful lamp, Ali Baba and the forty thieves, and the Magic Carpet or the Sultan who collected curios. The language is difficult, intended for adults to read aloud. The coloured paintings are stylized - fancy costumes, but faces white, and some look more Chinese than Arabian. I enjoyed it as a child.
