Do you enjoy a rocking and rolling story with good guys, bad guys, romance, adventure, intrigue, oh, and Christmas? If so, look no more. You’ve found it. A story with all of the above.

CHRISTMAS WITH THE MARQUIS, by Author Jean Hart Stewart, will take you on a wild ride with characters that don’t always know what they want until they don’t have it. Jason Anders Denniston, 12th Earl of Derbyshire, soon to be Marquis of Allenham breaks his engagement with Abigail Vandersham, his betrothed, because she’s too ugly. Hey, she’s a kid. Of course, he has an attitude and is quite the ladies’ man. Sometimes people regret hasty actions, and years later, when Jason, who is now the Marquis, sees Abigail after she’s grown up he has one of those “I wish I hadn’t done that” moments. Abigail, who wants nothing to do with the Marquis (yay for her) because his rejection made her life miserable with her father, presents a challenge to Jason.

Will the star-crossed lovers find happiness, or will Abigail get her revenge for the way Jason humiliated her when she was younger by breaking their engagement? And where does Christmas fit into this tale? Ah, you’ll have to read the book to find out.

This is not normally the kind of book I read. But I love anything Christmas, so I entered a contest and won. There are some graphic scenes that made me blush. The characters pulled me into the story, and I hoped that things worked out for Abigail and Jason. I’m not saying.
