Amazon.com Product Description (ISBN 160477665X, Paperback)

While his wife was battling breast cancer, a man discovered he had cancer, too. It was his attitude toward God that was consuming him. In this book, he shares why he had to have surgery, chemo and radiation just as his wife did. How is your attitude when trials keep coming and coming? Do you ever ask, "Why me?" Do you feel you deserve better than what God is sending your way? Do you wonder if God really loves you? If so, you will be blessed and encouraged through this unique story. This book will help you to: see God always has your best interest at heart. see your trials are just blessing in disguise. place your bad attitude on God's altar, so He can alter your heart. stop trusting in your own understanding and accept God's will for your life. Jerome and Mildred have been married 46 years and have two children and four grandchildren. He is a long-time member of Morningside Baptist Church in Valdosta, Georgia, where he serves as a Bible teacher and elder. After being a Christian for 50 years, he was dissatisfied with the level of his spiritual maturity. He knew his faith was weak and his patience short. He knew God often used trials to teach His children. He thought he had a desire for God to give him a spiritual makeover, but he quickly doubted his sincerity when faced with a series of trials, starting with his wife's cancer. Thirty years earlier, at the invitation of author Marion Bond West, he attended a training session for aspiring writers. It was there God planted a seed for a book which has now grown into an inspiring story of how God used trials to transform his life and marriage.
