Mikey Mite is a bright young fellow and the fastest skater in his class-but that doesn't help him with his teacher, Mrs. Gesundheit. Mikey is such a terror in her class that he spends half his time in the Vice Principal's office. So when Mikey gets carrots for the school guinea pig "on credit," Mrs. Gesundheit makes it her business to catch him. Soon everone is school is calling Mikey a thief, and the big kids start to pick on him. When Mikey blames Mrs. Gesundheit for his problems, she kicks him out of her class. His new teacher Mrs. Lum, however, has a different way of teaching Mikey. Mikey Mite Goes to School is the story of a bright child from a troubled family, and of a teacher who recognizes his abilities.
