Marked for Love by Anna J Stewart
This novella is part of a series set in Lantano Valley. I was given an ARC for review. It explores the lives and livelihoods of the individuals in one community. The main characters, Regan and Brodie, explore the newness of romantic love while struggling with the demands of family and work. The author’s word usage has a vibrancy and vividness that brings the reader into the story to such an extent that this reader was on tenterhooks waiting for the end result of a scene and praying for a positive resolution. While only a novella, this story had family conflict, drama, romance, kidnapping, drug and alcohol issues, teenage rebellion, and resolution of all these issues. It is a powerful in-depth story that provided complexity of emotion and character development beyond the ordinary novella. Outstanding story!! I would highly recommend this novella! ( )
