We were early to a party last evening so we stopped at Borders for coffee. Of course, it wouldn't be right to go to a bookstore and not buy a book. So I bought:
Dead Witch Walking ... 70. The Scent of Shadows : The First Sign of the Zodiac by Vicki Pettersson - An interesting entry in the urban paranormal genre, I really enjoyed this book. I just hope the next in the series are as good. These are a little darker than I usually like, but Pettersson handles it well.

Instead I picked up The Scent of Shadows, which is pretty engaging so far. I'm about to slip it into my pocket and head outside to find somewhere to read and soak up the beautiful weather ... ... it on the shelf.
Has anyone read any of the books of the Zodiac series (there's 2 so far)? The first book is called The Scent of Shadows:The First Sign of the Zodiac by Vicki Pettersson.
It caught my eye while I was at the bookstore today but I didn't feel like sitting down and ... ... Lover Awakened until I go Lover Revealed is a real mystery to me...oh well.
My next choice is between New Moon, The Scent of Shadows, and Succubus Blues. ... of a sort? Oh well. Next time I'll stick with my movies and my prized copy of Pride and Prejudice.
Lover Revealed, The Scent of Shadows, and Succubus Blues arrived today. I have to go reread Lover Awakened...then I can get to work on the new one!
