I adore Evangeline Anderson. I think this Brides of the Kindred series is unique and just good reading. She can spin a series. I've read all of the series so far and this one was a wonderful continuation with Nadiah and Adam Rast as the leads.

I did not expect Adam to become such a powerful leader, of a world, no less. I actually did not see this coming, nor his wings. Can't wait for the next part of the series.

The one thing that was a little annoying was the saturated 'love' talk from Rast. Sometimes, it felt too flowery for me. He didn't seem so manly at those parts. Other than that I loved the story especially Merrick and Elise.

Still a great job, Ms. Anderson. ( )
