Nightbloom is book three in the Nightwing series by Juliette Cross.

There is just some enchanting about these Morgon men. I am in love and have been addicted since reading book one, [b:Soulfire|20640241|Soulfire (Nightwing, #1)|Juliette Cross|https://d.gr-assets.com/books/1401365394s/20640241.jpg|39930900]. The Morgon men have this raw sexual nature that gets your blood boiling and they also protect their mate with such fierceness. I was pulled into Nightbloom from begging to end and could not put it down.

Paxon Nightwing knows that Ella is the one and he sees Ella for who she is and can be. He is confident and sure of himself, but not in an arrogant way, oh no, in a very sexy Morgon/dragon way. I loved him.

Ella is the good girl. She does what is expected of her and she still lives at home enjoying the close relationship she shares with her parents. She is shy and keeps her talent hidden never showing her art to anyone. I enjoyed her transformation from shy to sure of herself.

At the begging is she dating Clayton. Why? Well it makes her parents happy and to say the least they look good together in their social structure. All I can say is Clayton is a dick. He puts on an act in front of her parents, but you can tell he really does not care for Ella. I wanted to smack Ella and say, hay you need to kick this guy to the curb and stand up for yourself. I loved watching Ella come out of her shell, learn that it does not matter what everyone thinks or feels; because she is an amazing women, with an outstanding talent and that their is a man who sees her and will stand buy her always.

The plot is straight forward, with some secrets and blackmail coming to light. The romance was sweet and sexy. The story gives us another tempting look into the world of Morgons’ and it’s city of Gladium, where humans and Morgon’s are slowly bringing their lives together.

Nightbloom is sweet, sexy, and satisfying. The author has done it again. I highly recommend picking up this series. I can’t wait for more.

This was a much-anticipated book for me... one of those that kept popping up in the back of my head while I was trying to get all my other books read. But that just goes to show that Juliette knows how to crank out stories that grab your attention.

Our heroine in this book is Ella Barrow, the final friend of the trifecta of girls we first met in [b:Soulfire|20640241|Soulfire (Nightwing, #1)|Juliette Cross|https://d.gr-assets.com/books/1401365394s/20640241.jpg|39930900]. Ella is extremely shy, meek, reserved, afraid of her shadow, you name it. The type of heroine I usually hate and scream at while I'm reading. So imagine my surprise that Ella is actually my favorite heroine of the Nightwing series! I am absolutely shocked, but that again is a credit to Juliette's writing. Although Ella was meek and mild-mannered, she was not an annoyingly weak female. She had some issues, she wanted to work through them, and it turns out the thing she needed to find her backbone was one steamy hot Morgon male.

Our featured Morgon man meat in [b:Nightbloom|20640268|Nightbloom (Nightwing, #3)|Juliette Cross|https://d.gr-assets.com/books/1421201029s/20640268.jpg|39930934] is Pax, cousin to the Nightwing brothers, Lucius and Lorian. I didn't focus on Paxon much in previous books, but I had the idea in my head that he was a party boy. But obviously I had the wrong idea because Pax is not a party boy - he is very serious and cultured. And, much to my delight, his beast rides closet to the surface as well. I don't think he outpaces Lorian from [b:Windburn|20640247|Windburn (Nightwing, #2)|Juliette Cross|https://d.gr-assets.com/books/1416661525s/20640247.jpg|39930915] as my favorite book boyfriend of the series, but he cuts it pretty close. I loved how caring and supportive he was of Ella... and it was holy hotness when he let his dragon out to play! Yumm-meee!

If you haven't entered the Morgon world to explore the race of dragon-human hybrids, you are missing out. Juliette has created such a fun and unique world of hot alpha male dragons, fun and spunky heroines, and villains that you love to hate. The only complaint I would have about any of these books is that I wish they were longer! I want to spend more time with these growly gentlemen and at only 150ish pages each, it goes by in the blink of an eye. But lucky for us - we have a spinoff series to enjoy, starting with Kol Moonring in [b:Waking the Dragon|23197122|Waking the Dragon (Vale of Stars, #1)|Juliette Cross|https://d.gr-assets.com/books/1425002559s/23197122.jpg|42742129].

Well Paxon was a real surprise for me. I loved the Nightwing brothers but their cousin is just a whole other level up. That subtle charm, the protective caring side of him is so not the mental picture I got of him from the first 2 books. In fact he seemed quite elusive to me, all dark and broody. But here we see a whole new side to him.

Ella is just too sweet for her own good and it's great to see her finally taking a stand for herself. They do go so well together, balancing each other out. So we see the conclusion of the Nightwing series which has been quite a journey in the land of fiction. I'm so glad we will catch up with more from the Nightwings in the new series "Vale of Stars"

NIGHTBLOOM continues the Nightwing series with quiet and artistic Ella and powerful Morgan Paxon.

Ella's family expects her to live a certain way and marry Clayton, but she wants her life to be hers and she has come to realize that Clayton isn't who she wants. When she meets Paxon she fights her attraction, but is still drawn to him and can't seem to stop thinking about him. I have always liked Ella, I have always seen her as Jessen and Sorcha's quiet friend and NIGHTBLOOM digs deeper into her life and her dreams.

Paxon is a Morgon and like all the Morgon men we have come to love he's confident, protective, has an alpha male personality and isn't afraid to go after what he wants. Once Ella is on board, their relationship is fiery and strong. Ella's mother would never approve of her being with a Morgan man so their relationship has to be a secret, until it's not and Ella has to decide once and for all if she will fight for the life and love she wants or go back to living the life her family expects her to live.

My favorite scene of NIGHTBLOOM was none other than the bar scene where Ella FINALLY breaks up with her douche-bag of a boyfriend Clayton. AWESOME, pure AWESOME! I woohoo'd out loud and my husband looked at me like I was crazy. I also really enjoyed Ella's talk with her mom after her and Paxon's relationship was revealed. Ella really came out of her shell after starting her relationship with Paxon and it really showed.

A lot has changed in the world of the Nightwing series and I enjoy seeing the differences in each book. The relationships in each book are always strong and the storylines are always easy to follow. Each book can probably be read as a standalone, but you will miss out on character and world development and they are such quick reads I recommend just starting with book one.
