A sinkhole appears int he middle of the Black Rock Desert and a team of female x-men investigates and find complications.

I really enjoyed this, more for the insight into the characters than anything else. ( )

I'm not in touch enough anymore with the comics world to know exactly what the deal is with Willow Wilson, but I know she is considered to be a big deal in the comics world at present and for this mostly female X-men squadron, she is fantastic! The character moments really sing; shit's passing the Bechdel test all over the place. (Although, as you may have read recently, so does "Oh my god, Becky, look at her butt.") And then underneath it there is the basic matter of a fun story idea involving Krakoa and a cute ending. ( )

Platitudinous writing, rushed artwork, uninspired plot. ( )
