This was a sweet second-chance-at-love romance. In a lot of ways I was reminded of a cozy mystery. We, that is the reader, knew that Vivian had a secret. I was carefully looking for clues to what it was. I guessed person and eventually the secret, but fortunately didn’t get all the details. Everything about the book was good. I liked the characters (except for one) There were sexual scenes and they were good but not overwhelming. The setting, in Jamaica with warm water and beautiful sunsets created a romantic atmosphere that couldn’t be ignored! I read the novella in one sitting, it was that good! This was the first book by the author that I read, but it won’t be the last. ( )
