None. Greek Gods, cursed humans, suspense, fluff. What more can a girl wish for, right? ( )I finished reading [b:Fantasy Lover|84136|Fantasy Lover (Dark-Hunter, #0)|Sherrilyn Kenyon|http://photo.goodreads.com/books/1312232005s/84136.jpg|2384] by Sherrilyn Kenyon today. The funniest part is, that when I started reading it I remembered that I read it a long time ago and totally forgot about it. It was fun re-reading. Grace and her friend Selena were very witty and funny and contributed a lot to the humor of the book. I also liked that [a:Sherrilyn Kenyon|4430|Sherrilyn Kenyon|http://photo.goodreads.com/authors/1290461777p2/4430.jpg] mixed in a Greek mythology, I love it when writer describe Greek gods in modern settings. This is a great book!!!I am hooked on this series! Yummy! I love a light read to curl up with and take a break from the heavy reading of classwork. 2.5 Stars- There were some sweet and poignant moments in the book. I particularly liked the way the characters related to one another and cared for each other, there was a tenderness and love between them that was quite touching, but too many other things bothered me: ~Too many deus ex machinas, especially toward the somewhat ridiculous ending where everything completely unravelled into a near farce. ~Formulaic plotlines galore, despite the initial intriguing premise. Sometimes it felt that the author was trying to fill the pages with unnecesary conflict which really had nothing to do with the central plot. Despite its flaws, the book was ultimately readable and enjoyable. no reviews | add a review
