I agree that you should read the Sherrilyn Kenyon books in order... starting with the prequel (pre-sequel) Fantasy Lover.... very worth the read... savor them!! >10 Hi :-) On the Sherrilyn Kenyon front I would suggest starting with Fantasy Lover. It's a prequil (sorry, I know I'm not spelling that right) to her Dark Hunter series and works very well as a stand alone story as well. Fantasy Lover is probably one of my favorite Dark Hunter books, even though it really isn't a dark hunter book. Actually it may be one of my favorite romance novels ever.
I was curious what other people thought of the book. ... other than the bios of Alaskans, such as mining, trapping, substinence living, history, etc., it was interesting.

Honestly, most of the ones I've read are a lot smarter than people give them credit for. For example the book Fantasy Lover (bad name, great book) has a very strong greek/roman mythology backing as does most of Sherrilyn Kenyon's Dark Hunter books.

I would highly recommend this one to you.
Fantasy Lover by Sherrilyn Kenyon has a very strong Greek Mythology background, some time travel, paranormal happenings, etc. I'd very highly recommend it as well.
