The name of this book should have been Beat The Hell Out of Lieutenant Lindsay Boxer. Poor Lindsay gets beaten up several times, both physically and emotionally. Her husband, Joe Molinari, also has a more significant role in the story. Readers would remember Joe was x-FBI and used to work for Homeland Security. Still, in recent books, he's been a househusband and doting father to his and Lindsay's daughter, Julie. This book's plotline profoundly delves into the secrets Joe's been keeping that could tear him and Lindsay apart—maybe forever! The 15th Affair has explosive action, crazy plot twists, and searing suspense. I loved it. ( )

So, of course I was super excited when this book showed up i could not wait to get into it, because…. Well…. Lindsay Boxer is the best.
So once I got to read the book and realized that it was also another great installment in the Women’s Murder Club series, I was a very happy reader.
Lindsay has had to deal with a lot of stuff in the past, but nothing quite like this. Being followed around by highly dangerous men makes every move she makes a risk. She has to constantly be aware of her surroundings and be ready to fight at any moment.
That, coupled with her distant husband, Lindsay has a hell of a time solving this case.
I feel like as this series goes on, we see less and less of the Women’s Murder Club actually being together and interacting. I miss when there were more interactions between them because the characters have such great book chemistry together. ( )

Very repetive dialogue. Detective Lindsay Boxer investigates an elusive dangerous suspect. Her husband Joe goes missing could it be him? ( )

James Patterson should stop marketing these as WMC as they are not featured in them as much as the earlier (and much better) books. Another long running series of books that has run its race for me.... ( )
