When I read Tamara Philip's debut story, The Trouble with Playing Cupid, I really enjoyed it and was surprised at the great writing style for a newbie. However, I am now totally blown away by the amazing improvement in writing and style. The story follows Tom and December, two famous people in their own right, who fall in love, but have the pitfalls of fame and fortune to contend with. Clarissa, December's best friend comes into her own in this book and I can possibly see other books coming out that follow some if the other interesting characters in the series. There is also a bonus of another short story which is a lively seasonal tale of love. Well worth the read. Well done Ms Philip. ( )
