None. I'm totally hooked on this series! I need to take a little break now, though, I have to work and not play... ( )Good book...loved learining more about the Katagaria and Arcadians Night Play 4 Stars Synopsis: Deadly and tortured, Vane Kattalakis is a Were-Hunter with the ability to transform into a wolf. Pursued by his enemies, Vane is not looking for love and is staggered to learn that the Fates have marked Bride McTierney, a human woman, as his mate. Bride has been hurt in the past and Vane must work his way past her insecurities to convince her that she can trust him not only with her life but with her heart as well. Review: **Note**: This is book six in the Dark Hunter series but the first book to explore the world of the Were-Hunters and is this respect it provides many new and interesting details, especially regarding the distinction between the Arcadians and Katagaria. Vane and Bride are a sweet and likeable couple, and their romance is engaging. Nevertheless, Bride’s preoccupation with her physical size, while understandable, becomes tiresome after a while, especially considering the fact that Vane could not care less and sees her as sexy and voluptuous. Vane is gorgeous both inside and out, and he is among my favorite characters in the series. While the plot is predictable and clichéd, the book has some great laugh-out-loud dialogue and exceptional secondary characters (gotta love Ash and Simi, Valerius and Otto) that more than make up for it. The contrast between Vane and Fury’s characterization is another highlight of the story. Backstory and world building are Kenyon's strong suit and Night Play is no exception. The writing flows and the descriptions are detailed and intriguing even if her characters are a little too good to be true. I am slowly working my way through this series and enjoying every minute. I do suggest that the books be read in order so as not to miss out on any of the interesting tidbits. Who doesn’t want a knight in shinning armour? Pretend as much as she likes Bride McTierney still does. As Vane Kattalakis comes on the scene he is exactly what she is looking for but a little more than what she might expect. Now Vane has to convince Bride to be his forever as the Fates have decreed but the one thing in his way would be the fact that he is a wolf. This enchanted world that Sherrilyn Kenyon has developed for readers is truly unique and inspiring. In this novel she once again does not disappoint. Kenyon inspires a wide range of different characters of all shapes and sizes while going out of the box to make each one unique. All of her characters are liable and really to the every day person. Vane takes charge in a way no other man could as he develops feelings for Bride beyond his control. I love how characters from the previous books appear and add to the story. Especially Ash and Simi, they just make every book more enjoyable to read! Also on http://lrjohnson13.blogspot.com/2012/10/night-play-were-hunter-3-by-sherrilyn.ht... The first of the amazing new Dark-Hunter series from author Sherrilyn Kenyon. Kyrian of Thrace, an experienced fighter and one time heir to the throne now is an immortal fighter for the human race. Stalking the very creatures that thrive on the souls of countless humans everyday, you would think him some kind of glorious hero. However, this heroic hunter finds himself with a dark past and a now even darker future. Waking up chained to an ordinary, very conservative human, Amanda Devereaux, was not exactly his idea of a wonderful time. Especially now that he finds himself attracted to her, a woman betrayed him once in his life; he wasn't going to let it happen again. They will have to fight together if they want to stay alive and they will have to trust each other in the end.
