... recently, I do see a whole slew of books, but they mostly look exceedingly stupid, things like Kelley Armstrong's Women of the Underworld series. Perhaps I should not dismiss them so readily, but most of my recent forays have been disappointing.
I am not a vampire buff, so I have ... >4 Does that mean she's re-writing the stories from the guy's POV? I've only read Bitten and Stolen of that series so far but my recollection is that Clayton is Elaina's mate, right?
I'm off on another fantasy kick and currently reading Melusine. 12) Stolen ... anyone who has read Blood Brothers and The Hollow will want to read it .

7. Stolen by Kelley Armstrong - Finished March 28
A relatively new favorite author whose books I am searching out. This one wasn't exactly what I expected but it was ... Kelly Armstrong has a series of books that feature werewolves: Bitten, Stolen... there's probably more. I haven't read them and can't vouch for their quality. Like the Sookie Stackhouse books recommended above I believe they are more fantasy than horror.
I've heard good and bad things ... ... No Humans Involved would probably still make sense (you've been introduced to many of the characters in Bitten and Stolen), but you're missing a lot by skipping the other books in the series. ... with regard to Kelly Armstrong, Jeremy is my favorite character so far in her series, but I've only read Bitten and Stolen. Do you think No Humans Involved would make sense without having read the others of the series? ... I got into 'em pretty late) and I can say that I'm really glad I found this genre. She was followed closely by Bitten & Stolen, both by the incredible Kelley Armstrong. Kim Harrison was fast on their heels.

I've only read Bitten and Stolen by Kelley Armstrong so far and I definately preferred Stolen.
Right now I'm almost done with You Slay Me and am not quite sure what to move on to next. Eith ... Dl I ordered Night Pleasures. That's too bad about Stolen being so similar. I have only read one of Armstong's books, I think it was Dime Store Magic. ... seems to have the luck of attracting everyone! *sigh*
The only thing was I shouldn't have read it right after reading Stolen. The premise for both stories were rather similar and I had to keep reminding myself that Adam wasn't Jeremy, Samuel wasn't Clay and Mercy wasn't Elaina.
Night P ... I finished Blood Bound last night and really enjoyed it although I probably shouldn't have read it immediately after Stolen considering the similarities between the story lines. I kept confusing personalities between the characters.

However, I finished Stolen last night and thought it was really, really good. I'm so glad I read it. I'm definately going to read more of the Women of the Otherworld books now!
Continuing ... I'm continuing on with Stolen by Kelley Armstrong. My son and I are about one chapter away from finishing the audio book of Dragon Rider by Cornelia Funke in the car. ... and decided it was time to give the series another shot. I really like Jeremy's character and hope he's got a good part in Stolen. ... books that I've started (but I won't say it's never happened). However, in the last few days I've almost given up on two. Stolen by Kelley Armstrong for reasons that have no reflection on the book itself and Boys that Bite because it started off almost too silly for me. I'm really glad I ... I started Stolen by Kelley Armstrong last night but had to stop. I'm waiting to get a bit more info on the story from a friend before I decide to continue reading it or not.
So, today I'll be starting Boys that Bite by Mari Mancusi for a myspace book club I participate in. Started Stolen but have to skip it for now. Instead starting Boys That Bite for a myspace book club I'm in.
Just out of curiosity, would anyone here ever want to do a book of the month thing? I like them because they inspire me to read books I might not otherwise read. I finished She's No Faerie Princess and will be starting Stolen by Kelley Armstrong. After finishing She's No Faerie Princess I have one more library book out now which is Stolen by Kelley Armstrong. After that I'll get to start on the pile of tbr books that I own, yeah!! I think I have about 30-40 tbrs on my list (I'm keeping track of them with my LT library). The first ... My TBR pile is pretty big as well. My next few library books that I have out that I need to get through are Wolfcry, Stolen, Golden (touchstone not working), Circus of the Darned, Goddess by Mistake and Secret Vampire.
My Christmas pile consists of The 5 Weather Warden books by Rac ... I read Bitten about 3 or 4 months ago, it was pretty good. I picked up Stolen at the library last week because it was there and looked interesting.
