I would possibly suggest trying to find The Secret Diary of Anne Boleyn first as there are a few mentions of it in this book and I would have liked to read that one first.
4 out of 5 ... the Mary Stewart Arthur series (her romance mysteries were the only ones I could stand reading for years!). I also liked The Secret Diary of Anne Boleyn, especially in comparison to The Other Boleyn Girl. I tried two others of Gregory's before pitching the books across a room because the ... Ah! Found you!

This was well done, loads of history told really well in a flowing fashion that didn't bog down. Just to add another Anne Boleyn novel to the pile, you might try Robin Maxwell's The Secret Diary of Anne Boleyn, which I found more intriguing that Ms. Gregory's books.
How did you do with She? I've started it several times, but seem to need to have a concentrated period of time to get ... ... is history as is his Sailing the Wine-Dark Sea. Kate Horsley's Confessions of a Pagan Nun and Robin Maxwell's The Secret Diary of Anne Boleyn are both historical fiction. They are all four at the top of my current TBR file between the hard stuff I'm reading for school. ...
