Snyder's self-published anthology of short stories is brimming with vivid characters and steamy encounters. Her men are fun to get to know and I found myself cheering them on.
Some of these stories are very strong and I wouldn't say no to sequels, and some of these stories contained characters that will stay with me for a long time after.
"Joy Ride" was one of my favorites. Mack is perfect as a sullen, tough biker, and Brad is the playful young teenager that teases and fearlessly challenges Mack. The story is stimulating and stuffed with double entendres. You couldn't have squeeze one more innuendo into this.
"Best Friends" had a tender storyline that I couldn't help getting caught up with. Todd's attachment to his best friend is palpable, and Riley's dependence on Todd is obvious to everyone. Their friendship made them one of the most intense and moving pairings.
Even while these stories are short, none of the encounters between the characters are rushed. The relationships do not suffer from the length of the stories. Snyder builds up anticipation and tension tangible enough to leave readers on the edge of their seats. (
