Undead and Unwed by MaryJanize Davidson MaryJanice Davidson's "Queen Betsy" books (Undead and Unwed, Undead and Unemployed, Undead and Unappreciated, etc.) are the funniest audio books I have ever heard! (And I listen to a lot of audio books!)
A close 2nd would be Janet Evanovich's Stephanie Plum novels - the narrations ... It's completely not your area, but Mary Janice Davidson's vampire series, starting with Undead and Unwed are funny and the narrator is fabulous. They're among the few books I've heard where the narrator sounded exactly like I'd imagined the protagonist sounding.
Also not your area, but the Li ... 57. Undead and Unwed by MaryJanice Davidson (06/07/09)

62. Undead and Unpopular by MaryJanice Davidso ... ... I picked it up! I'd forgotten how enjoyable this series is. This is the fifth book in the Betsy series, which starts with Undead and Unwed. I laughed out loud at several points, and it was a great escape from my everyday life. Nothing deep, but loads of fun! Three and a half stars. 100. Undead and Unwed by MaryJanice Davidson. My 100th book for the year! *doing happy dance* My friend Millie loaned me this one (she has a thing about vampires). It was ok, but not really my cup of tea. Too much like the undead shopaholic. Lots of hokey jokes that just didn't work and a ... How about MaryJanice Davidson's Queen Betsy in undead and unwed. Usually MaryJanice Davidson's Undead and... series is the first place I think to refer Twilight fans - at least, the older ones (there's a little more sexual content, though I figure the bloody content of Breaking Dawn about balances that?).

Very funny vampire tale, first in a series which I will hopefully be reading as and when I find them. ... though.
Paranormal chick lit can be fun, too. I'm reading the Queen Betsy series by Mary Janice Davidson and finished Undead and Unwed and Undead and Unemployed so far, both are absolutely hilarious - it seems my basic requirement for this genre is humor. I can't help it.:) @ MsMoto: Me, too. I haven't been that impressed with a debut novel since Donna Tartt's The Secret History.
Book #9 - Undead and Unwed by Mary Janice Davidson
This is a funny, short, easy vampire romance chick lit book. And as I'm simultaneously reading Marilynne Robinson's Home ... ... Ones, which are less of a series and more of related books, and the Aisling Grey books.
MaryJanice Davidson's Queen Betsy series is also hilarious. Can't wait to find more favorites due to this challenge! ... g

A very flimsy genre, and not one that I'm proud of reading; but Sunshine was actually very good, and Undead and Unwed and its first sequel were very very very silly good fun (the rest were appallingly badly written, I gave up at #4). For a darker, more violent and more erotic take, the Anita Blake series by Laurell K. Hamilton starting with Guilty Pleasures. The first four ... Yesterday I finished
#15 Undead and Unwed by Mary Janice Davidson. It's a very very light and fluffy read. It made me laugh out loud quite often, so I'm still quite interested in the other parts of the series, as well.
readeron in 50 Book Challenge : readeron's 2008 challenge (Sep 29, 2008, 8:38pm) I started Undead and Unwed by Mary Janice Davidson. It's definitely funny so far ( = 10 chapters completed). Oh, goodness, time's gotten away from me again. I have finished Undead and Unemployed by MaryJanice Davidson, The Way of the World by Ron Suskind, and The Moor by Laurie R. King. I'm probably missing something somewhere, but it'll come to me at some point. It is so much harder ... ... Bite. & Laurell for both, obviously.)
I've read part of Guilty Pleasures, the first three of the Queen Betsy series (Undead and Unwed, Undead and Unemployed, Undead and Unappreciated) and nothing else by the others. Are any of the stories safe to read having only read that? Undead and Unwed by MaryJanice Davidson had some really funny lines, but I'm thinking it's a mite too fluffy for my reading level. Entertaining, fun - yes; but I can go through it so fast, it's more of an appetizer of a book than an entree book. You know? 5. Paranormal Romance (by MaryJanice Davidson)

Have Undead and Unwed by MaryJanice Davidson on the Zen. I finally downloaded my first two books from Audible.com and am listening (Undead and Unwed by MaryJanice Davidson - very well read by Nancy Wu and funnier in audio than print) as I work on LT tonight. Having not added any audio books (in any format) to LT, I was wondering if several of you ... ... Harris are good. Some of them are now available in audio.
MaryJanice Davidson does a series of light romances (Undead and Unwed, Undead and Unemployed, etc.) which are ok but I think have gone downhill a bit lately so I tend to borrow them.

I definately prefer Katie MacAlister's brand of paranormal/romance/humo ... MaryJanice Davidson's Undead books crack me up. The first is Undead and Unwed. I liked Undead and Unwed but I prefer Katie MacAlister's vamp/humor novels. I've read Sex and the Single Vampire and Sex, Lies and Vampires by her so far and I really liked them.
