Undead and Unwed by MaryJanice Davidson had some really funny lines, but I'm thinking it's a mite too fluffy for my reading level. Entertaining, fun - yes; but I can go through it so fast, it's more of an appetizer of a book than an entree book. You know? 5. Paranormal Romance (by MaryJanice Davidson)

Other than that, I like:
Skinne Legs and All by Tom Robbins
Undead series by MaryJanice Davidson
The first Aisling Grey books by Katie MacALister
Tim Dorseys Serge Storm books are over the top, and hysterically ... Started Undead and Unwed, already found a great line.
Anyway, I started temping around the Twin Cities, which, like all the jobs I ever had, was fun until I mastered the situation and got bored. Eventually I had so much experience as a secretary they made me a supersecratary...excuse me, an ... ... wading through piles of what is pretty much vampire or werewolf porn to find a lonely well written 'proper' horror story. Undead and Unwed was the latest one that springs to mind and it really doesn't fit in with my idea of horror. Half dressed 20-something woman that get bitten and start to ... ...

On the extremely light side is the "Undead" series by MaryJanice Davidson (Undead and Unwed, etc. Rather mindless but sometimes one needs a break....
And for something totally off the wall, try Bloodsucking Fiends by Christopher Moore (an ... ... series

Have Undead and Unwed by MaryJanice Davidson on the Zen. I finally downloaded my first two books from Audible.com and am listening (Undead and Unwed by MaryJanice Davidson - very well read by Nancy Wu and funnier in audio than print) as I work on LT tonight. Having not added any audio books (in any format) to LT, I was wondering if several of you ... ... Harris are good. Some of them are now available in audio.
MaryJanice Davidson does a series of light romances (Undead and Unwed, Undead and Unemployed, etc.) which are ok but I think have gone downhill a bit lately so I tend to borrow them.

Hi Simon! I recongnize you from some of the other boards we both frequent. I loved your comment about Undead and Unwed being more fluff than romance. Have you read any of the others in her series? I unfortunately found I didn't luurve them as much as I have some other paranormal romance ... ... s
The Anubis Gates
A fall of moondust

Basket case
Undead and Unwed fluff and none the worst for that I just mooched Sun in Glory, edited by Mercedes Lackey, and tomorrow I'll be sending out The Screwtape Letters and Undead and Unwed.

I've read two of her other books Undead and Unwed and Derik's Bane and I had the same sense of discontent with those stories.
I definately prefer Katie MacAlister's brand of paranormal/romance/humo ... MaryJanice Davidson's Undead books crack me up. The first is Undead and Unwed. I liked Undead and Unwed but I prefer Katie MacAlister's vamp/humor novels. I've read Sex and the Single Vampire and Sex, Lies and Vampires by her so far and I really liked them.
Right now I'm reading the new Black Dagger Brotherhood novel, Lover Awakened by J.R. Ward. They are ... ... thread, and the stories are very funny. There are 4 books in PB, one in HC, and a collection in TP. The first book is unDead and Unwed.

I'm also currently in the middle of Mary Janice Davidson's Betsy Taylor books. I've read Undead and Unwed, which was amazing, and Undead and Unemployed, which started out slow but eventually improved. I just purchased Undead and Unappreciated and have it on ...
