Veteran ecumenist James Barrens has done a great service to the enhancement of Roman Catholic-Jewish relations through this clearly written narrative brought about by the papal encyclical Nostra Aetate in 1965 and the improvement in dialogue in subsequent years to the present. The text of the encyclical and other agreement are appended to the book. This is a useful tool for ecumenical dialogue and should be warmly received by all those who toil in the field of discrimination and religious dissension and a handy supplement for participants in ecumenical Seders.

I was given an electronic copy in return for an honest review. ( )

Very insightful. I enjoyed reading and learning a little more about the relationship between the Jeiwsh and the Catholics. ( )
