Having never read another of Ms. McKenna's books, I can't say whether this is written in her usual fashion. I was looking forward to this as a launch book for the Nocturne series. Unfortunately, the constant repetition of information made me less than enthusiastic about reading it. It's just not a style that appeals to me. ( )
