I did read Hannibal Rising too...I didn't like it as much...I am a BIG fan of Silence of he Lambs...and Red Dragon is just as good! Have fun reading! ... of the Lambs, so I decided I should probably read the rest of the series, preferably in order. Although I've heard that Hannibal Rising really stinks. While we are throwing things down, let's add Thomas Harris' book Hannibal Rising. Drivelous crap that I can't believe I wasted my hours on. This is a warning to anyone who thinks it might be good.....stay away! I have to say that I just finished Hannibal Rising by Thomas Harris yesterday and throughly disappointed. I was very excited about the prospect of finding how Hannibal became the deviant that he was in his older years, and quite honestly expected an enjoyable read. This book was quite clearly ... Ugh, I finished Hannibal Rising by Thomas Harris last night, and could not have been happier to finish a book. I really did not enjoy it, and think that the movie will be even worse. It was hard to imagine that the rationale for his killing sprees in the book are the same rationales for his ... Here is my reading list for the week:

Bookmarque - I finished Hannibal Rising over the weekend. When you finish, I'd love to have your opinion. I'll reserve my opinions for now; I don't want to spoil the book for anyone. Am nearly done with Lisey's Story and started Hannibal Rising yesterday and am 1/2 way through that now.
So far I cannot find a way to reconcile the vengeful young man with the cannibal psycho we know and love. He's still only 13 in the story and it seems like we have a long way to go an ...
