Poorly written. Didn't even want to continue after 4 chapters. I generally like paranormal romances but the storyline was absurd and disjointed. The characters were cliche and just not interesting. ( )

I've got to say that I've never had a book start out like this one. A woman with a rotten husband she can't get shut of until the kids are grown starts dreaming about a developing relationship with a marvelous man who eventually shows her that he is a shifter. This begins five years before they actually meet. He is also having the same dreams. Once they actually meet, in the French Quarter no less, things get out of hand and the weasely ex husband turns out to have ties to the mob and the adventure gets messy.
I got it on Whispersync thru BookGorilla and Robert Martinez did a great job of narration. ( )

I've read some of this series before, but when I found out there was an audio book, I snapped it up! I was on vacation last week, and since the whispersync deal was only $1.99, I decided to reread all of the books in anticipation of the new release! This is the epitome of a summer beach read. Sexy, mostly light, HEA, and few major dramas, you will love this series! I can't wait to listen to the rest of them in audio! Love!!!! ( )

I found myself feeling much like a voyeur as I read of Cade and Anna's love for each other. It amazed me how their love grew stronger with each breath I took. When they finally found each other my eyes filled with tears and my heart filled with the desire to know that kind of love from my mate, the man of my dreams.

I haven't read a book about shifters in quite a number of years and now I can't remember why! V.A. Dold has rekindled a deep love from my past with her dynamic writing in Cade. Her words wove their way through my mind and my veins and I became part of the story instead of just a reader.
