There are real, honest to goodness scientific nuggets that need to see the light of day which are presented in this book. However, the method of presentation leaves much to be desired. When the argument should be presented as such - "The global warming-hurricane's getting worse connection just can't be made because the data simply doesn't back it up", it ends up coming across like this "The global warming-hurricane connection, pushed by liberal envirowhackos, seemingly can't be made because the data doesn't back it up, thus again proving their idiotic agenda has no merit." I'm paraphrasing & making extreme examples of course, but my point is when you mix the politics & the science it's that much easier to dismiss the science. And that comes across as a huge disappointment when reading this book. no reviews | add a review
