Bob Woodward even made false statements about Bremer and Rumsfeld, in State of Denial and he *knew* better. I used to have a little bit of respect for Woodward, but it's gradually disappeared with his numerous quote inventions and apparent ... I just finished Bob Woodward's State of Denial For most of the book he managed to keep his state of objectivity, but I think he lost it towards the end. I am now on State of Denial by Bob Woodward, the 3rd. book in his Bush at War series. He seems to dig a little deeper in this book, going into more details. Woodward so far maintains his objectivity, but now, in the middle of the book, the strain is beginning to show. The rehashing of his notes from the past six years did not illuminate much for me, other than to point ... ... only read Bush at War and in it he seemed pretty neutral, but what I gathered from his 'media tour' with his latest book State of Denial; he's pretty much reached the same conclusions I have. I just finished State of Denial, which is an amazing look at the intellectual limitations of Number 43. I find it hard to believe that he lasted beyond a first term. Of particular note is GW's complete lack of couriosity about anything beyond his own life experience. Very strange. ... should read both, preferably. I'm just trying to draw attention to a book that has been overshadowed by the publicity that State of Denial is getting. ... of Denial) by Bob Woodward. I started The Brothers Karamazov last week, but I postponed reading it while I finished State of Denial, now that I am done, it is back to Russian Lit! I might be able to read three pages before I fall asleep tonight.
