65. Clouds of Witness by Dorothy L. Sayers
Lord Peter Wimsey tries to solve a murder that implicates, by turns, his brother, his sister, and a host of suspects.
66. The ... Definitely some issues with Sayers as well. Out-of-wedlock sex figures prominently in Clouds of Witness, Murder Must Advertise, not to mention Strong Poison. Heck, if Harriet hadn't had an illicit relationship with Philip Boyes, she'd never have met Peter! There's bigamy in The Nine Tailor ... ... already read My Sisters Keeper and Keeping Faith.

Fox Trot the Works, Clouds of Witness, Dear Miss Weaver, by Jane Lidderdale (touchstones won't touch this) and A Christian View of the Church. Also some YA books I picked up for free.
I'm trying to finish some of these (the YA books) quickly, because my reading year ends on the 7th of Feb. ... I am beginning Clouds of Witness by Dorothy L. Sayers today, reading it for the month of Feb. with a group. I am trying to finish the Carr mystery I am reading today, because I don't like to read two mysteries at the same time. As to memoir vs. biography, that's easy. A memoir is written by someone about their own life; a biography is ... ... called Sayers on Holmes.
On a related note, I finally found a library with Edward Petherbridge as LPW. I watched Clouds of Witness with Ian Carmichael, but no more after that. He's too far removed from my mental picture of LPW, though the actor playing Bunter wasn't bad.
Has anyone ...
