This book would be good to give to students who are having a tough time relating to their families. I think students would like this book because it is full of short stories. ( )

Cormier, as usual, uses vital and direct language to convey vivid stories about youth. He not only is one of the best YA authors, but one of the best authors out there, period.
  heina | Feb 23, 2008 |
Cormier is a brilliant author and this book does not disappoint. Shorter stories than the full-length novels like The Chocolate War, Cormier's stories capture life with an uncanny realism. ( )
